The Truth Hurts
A GOP mailing targets seven incumbent Democrats in the state House, informing voters in their districts that the incumbents may try to shift the blame or otherwise offer flimsy excuses and explanations for their pro-income tax vote. So how do the Democrats respond? With a flimsy complaint that the mailings are "misleading" and "unfair." But no denial that these seven did indeed support the unconstitutional income tax. Also check out this story on radio ads targeting state Rep. Tommy Head, one of the leaders of the not-dead drive to create an state income tax.
